The sauce

Load in, set-ups, soundcheck, problem solving

The camp culminates in a live performance showcase whose ticket sales will be split amongst campers

Day 5 - Showtime!

Over the past three years, Cosmic Jelly has built a global reputation for its songwriting camps. We’ve perfected the art of bringing diverse artists together to create exceptional records and career-defining experiences.

Now, we’re translating that to the stage.

Introducing our first-ever Performance Camp: a new kind of live music incubator. Ten artists/acts. Four days of instruction. Two dedicated coaches. World-class guest speakers and teachers. 1 final performance.

Your tuition fee goes towards ensuring we have access to top tier venues, gear, staffing, pre-production and guest speakers.

We’ll be offering both full and partial scholarships to ensure a diverse range of artists can take part.

A music director alone can cost thousands. Here, you’ll receive that level of guidance, plus direct access to 1:1 feedback and coaching from some of the world’s leading performers, playback engineers, and live show experts.

Whether it’s your first time taking your productions to the stage or whether you’re refining an existing project, you’ll leave with a fully realized live set — ready to take on the world stage.

Pricing

Camp fees start at $1,499 for Duos and Solo Artists, and $1,799 for Bands. Fees will go towards rentals (venue, audio, and lights) as well as fair compensation for the engineers, instructors, and organizers involved in making this a worthwhile experience.

We have a robust financial aid program to ensure that all accepted artists can be part of the camp.

Instructors

Laura Escudé

Laura Escudé is a highly established artist, innovator, and educator incorporating cutting-edge tech and raw emotional depth into her recorded music and live performances.

Equally at home onstage as an artist, or backstage as one of the world’s most in-demand live show designers, Laura is at the forefront of music technology. Listed among her accomplishments, Laura has both performed with and programmed for Kanye West & Jay Z, designed shows for American Idol, Herbie Hancock, and Porter Robinson, and opened for Miguel and Garbage.

Escudé was the world’s first Ableton Certified Trainer in 2008, and the first to implement the software in some of the most prestigious live shows around the world.
